WOLVES are ready to smash their transfer record as they close in on a £42million deal to sign Sporting Lisbon’s Matheus Nunes.
Bruno Lage switched his focus to the 23-year-old after Fulham moved in on their original Sporting target Joao Palhina.

The midfielder has a £51million release clause but Wolves are hopeful they could land their man for less if they move swiftly.
