Vitaly Janelt opened the scoring for the hosts after only 15 minutes and Ivan Toney doubled their lead on 54 minutes.

But the North Londoners fought back in the second half and equalised within six minutes thanks to Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

But there was even more drama in the 76th minute when Mbeumo sensationally dived inside Tottenham’s area.

The winger found himself in front of Fraser Forster, who went for the ball.
