SIR ALEX FERGUSON is feeling confident ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils travel to the hostile Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in the competition’s last-16 first-leg game.
But Sir Alex is unfazed by United’s tricky opponents led by Diego Simeone – and backed them to stroll to a comfortable victory despite their Premier League struggles.
And Fergie doesn’t expect United to just win by one or two goals – he’s predicting them to thrash Atletico FIVE-nil.
The 80-year-old United legend – who’s had his fair share of magical European nights with the club – made the bold claim whilst out and about with fellow club legend Bryan Robson.
A young fan approached Fergie’s chauffeur-driven luxury Bentley with the hopes of catching a glimpse of the football icon.
And Fergie – who was evidently in a rush – still made time for the youngster who was overawed by his presence.
The boy – who uploaded the clip to his YouTube channel Y Haider – then proceeded to ask Sir Alex what he thought tonight’s score would be later on – alluding to a mild one or two-goal win.

However, Fergie was feeling optimistic and quipped: “I’ll settle for five!”
The Scot then sped off – but not before the boy’s mother chimed in and thanked him for making her son’s day.
And Fergie’s predictions were mirrored by former United and Atletico star Diego Forlan who also admitted the Red Devils may cause the La Liga giants some serious problems.
Although he didn’t go as far as Fergie – the Uruguayan fears United will give Atletico a hard time on the counter-attack.
If United icon and Fergie-favourite Cristiano Ronaldo starts the game then Forlan’s worst fears might be realised.
The Portuguese global superstar has hit the net 25 times in 35 appearances against them over the course of his career.
