Watch raging Man Utd star Cristiano Ronaldo boot ball into the crowd after goal disallowed on return to team vs Sheriff

CRISTIANO RONALDO has exploded with rage again – booting the ball into the crowd after having a goal ruled out on his Manchester United recall.

Having been briefly banished to the Under-21s for refusing to come on as a sub, Ronaldo reacted to his disallowed strike in even more bizarre fashion – although he was later in much better spirits when he hammered home to round off a 3-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol.

With United 1-0 up through a Diogo Dalot strike, Ron met a nod-down with a perfect volley into the top corner in Thursday’s Europa League clash.

But when it was instantly erased for offside, he carried the ball to the side of the net and thumped it high into the Old Trafford stands.

Ronaldo was not even booked for that – and responded in the right way.

Marcus Rashford soon doubled United’s lead, in the 65th minute, and Ron pounced for the third goal, whipping home a loose ball with his left foot.

The Old Trafford legend reacted coolly, running to the corner flag and crossing his hands over his heart.

Sun columnist Piers Morgan tweeted: “The GOAT scores again. As he always will when he’s allowed to play. ⁦”

It was Ronaldo’s 15th goals of the year, meaning he’s achieved the feat 18 years in a row.

The Portugal superstar had welcomed his return to the fold before the match by insisting: “Back on track, with the same commitment and dedication as always!”

And his partner Georgina Rodriquez also posted positively on social media about his return.

The Spanish model wrote: “With the same light, the one that no one will be able to turn off. Let’s continue!”
