MANCHESTER UNITED’S capture of Antony will be of keen interest to one Premier League star in particular – Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez.
The pair have history after clashing in a Champions League round of 16 match between Ajax and Benfica earlier this year.
With the score tied at 2-2 the pair tussled for the ball and Antony was left incensed with Nunez after the altercation.
The pair went face to face before Antony pushed his head into his opponent – causing the Liverpool striker to fall to the floor theatrically.
Antony, 22, escaped with just a yellow card but it was Nunez who had the last laugh as he scored the winner in the second leg to send his side through.
Both players will have to keep their tempers in check when they face off in the Premier League.

Nunez, 23, found that out the hard way after receiving a red card for headbutting Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen – for which he received a three-match suspension.
After the incident team-mate Virgil van Dijk warned the £85million star that he has to “control himself” and learn not to react.
Van Dijk said: “Obviously he was disappointed and also probably with himself but it’s a learning curve and obviously we will always back him.
“He’s got the backing from us and he knows it should not happen again and hopefully it will be that way.

“He has to control himself, definitely. I think that’s a separate thing.
“He has to manage himself, he has to be knowing that these things can happen, especially in the Premier League.”
Erik ten Hag and senior players at United will likely be offering Antony the same advice after he completed his own £85.5m switch to Old Trafford on Tuesday.
The Brazilian could have a baptism of fire in the Premier League too as he is poised to start against Arsenal on Sunday.
