Watch Hulk almost burst out of his T-shirt as ex-Brazil star begins pre-season leg training with Atletico Mineiro


HULK’S muscles bulged through his T-shirt as he completed an intense pre-season workout.

The Brazilian star moved back to his homeland with Atletico Mineiro last year.

At the age of 36, he remains in remarkable physical condition.

Hulk, real name Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, gained his adopted name for his muscular physique, and his powers don’t appear to be waning with age.

In a video shared by SportsCenter Brazil, the forward looked as beefy as ever as he worked out in the gym.

Hulk completed a leg exercise in the clip, grimacing as he lifted weights.

His huge legs bulged as he did so, with the help of intense encouragement from a member of training staff.

Hulk then completed a separate core and balance exercise as he steps up his conditioning.

He returned to his homeland in January last year, 15 years after leaving Brazil for Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale in 2006.

It has so far been a trophy-laden homecoming.

Since signing for Atletico Mineiro, he has won the Brasileiro Serie A, Copa do Brasil, Supercopa do Brasil and two Campeonato Mineiros.

He has made 114 appearances for Atletico, scoring 65 goals and laying on 18 assists.

His form even earned an international recall last year, five years after his previous Brazil appearance.

Hulk won 49 caps in total for the Selecao, scoring 11 times.
