Watch Cristiano Ronaldo brush off ‘medic’ fan as she tries to get photo of Man Utd star during Sheriff clash


CRISTIANO RONALDO swatted away a fan who tried to get a photo with him at half-time during Manchester United’s win over Sheriff Tiraspol.

The Portuguese superstar, 37, was heading down the tunnel after scoring his first goal of the season from the penalty spot.

Yet despite converting the spot kick, Ronaldo was still in no mood to pose with supporters.

A female fan, wjo is thought to have been working as a medic at the game, tried to accost him as he made his way back to the dressing room.

But the ex-Real Madrid and Juventus man was having none of it.

He stuck his arm out in an attempt to usher her away, before someone came in between them to diffuse the situation.

Ronaldo ended a run of seven matches without a goal this season when he tucked his penalty down the middle in Moldova.

It gave Erik ten Hag’s men a 2-0 lead which they saw out comfortably in the second period.

Jadon Sancho had given them an early advantage, rifling a low shot into the bottom corner following a smart reverse pass from Christian Eriksen.

Ronaldo and Co will not feature again for United until after the international break.

The Red Devils’ Premier League clash with Leeds – which was set to take place this weekend – has been postponed due to a lack of police resources following the death of The Queen.

It means United’s next game will now be away at local rivals Manchester City on October 2.

Last season, they were thumped 4-1 by Pep Guardiola’s men at the Etihad.
