ATLETICO OTTAWA star Keven Aleman scored an incredible goal against Halifax Wanderers… but fans are divided over whether he meant it.
The ball found the attacking midfielder on the left flank in the 21st minute of the Canadian Premier League clash.
Aleman, 28, took a quick glance up before slicing an effort towards goal.
From an improbable angle, the Canadian international was able to catch out opposition goalkeeper Christian Oxner.
The goal was reminiscent of Roberto Carlos’ iconic strike for Real Madrid against Tenerife in 1998.
On that occasion, the Brazilian legend similarly received the ball on the left wing before rifling home from the tightest of angles.

Others marvelled at the goal’s similarity to Carlos’ all those years ago.
One posted a gif of the Madrid legend’s strike and wrote: “Those who know, know. Never thought I’d see something like this again.”
Another teased: “Where have I seen this goal before? Anyone? Anyone?”
Atletico Ottawa went on to win the match 3-2 to keep up their challenge at the top of the table.
They currently sit third, only behind leaders Forge and second-placed Pacific on goal difference.
