URUGUAY goalkeeper Sebastien Sosa showed off his crazy lion tattoo ahead of a friendly against Canada.
The stopper, who plays for Argentine side Independiente, has an amazing tattoo of a male lion on the back of his head – including a spectacular mane.
Sosa’s unconventional barnet complements the look but he first got the ink when he had no hair at all.
The keeper suffered from Covid-19 in the summer of 2020 and subsequently lost all of his hair.
Sosa believes the two were linked and decided to make up for it by decorating his head with the face of a lion.
He said after getting the tattoo: “I had coronavirus in July and at the end of August my hair started to fall out abruptly.

“It fell from all parts of my body. I knew it was a sequel to Covid.
“I only had a few left, so I decided to shave. I’ve always liked lions, that’s why I wanted to tattoo one on the back of my head.”
Sosa said it did not hurt to have the tattoo done despite taking SEVEN hours to be completed.
He added: “My tattoo didn’t hurt. When the tattoo artist started I said ‘have you started? Is that all the pain?’

“The truth was I got along pretty well, it was six or seven hours. I have the lion back there.
“If at any time I want my hair to grow back, I’ll cover it and if I want to show it off, I’ll shave it.”
Sosa was named on the bench for the friendly and so watched on as Uruguay beat Canada 2-0.
