HARRY KANE inspired Tottenham to a devastating 5-0 win over Everton.
England ace Kane helped himself to two as stunning Spurs went to three points of fourth-placed Arsenal.
While Everton remain on the cusp of the relegation zone, just one point above 18th-place Burnley.

That’s all from north London
It’s been an eventful night in the capital, one that’s been so enjoyable for Spurs, but awfully embarrassing for Everton.
It’s a result and performance that catapults Tottenham back into the race for the top four, but also has the Toffees plummeting towards the dropzone.
There’s a lot more football to come this week with the Champions League returning tomorrow, and a batch of rearranged Premier League fixtures on Thursday.
Stick with us here for all the action and more. Goodnight!
Frank talking: Lamps doesn’t hold back
A clearly frustrated Frank Lampard has given an open and honest interview post-match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Everton boss said that the performances of some of his players had given him ‘food for thought’ as to the battle ahead.
We didn’t deal with [the Tottenham counter-attack] well enough, it’s as simple as that. At 3-0, it’s horrible for any team to try to get back into a game because the momentum has completely gone.
We have to think in the bigger picture that there are 13 games to go, eight of those are at home. The teams around us having difficulties and that’s where we’re at. We have to understand that before I came in there were issues, which are becoming more clear to me every day.
The important thing as I lead it that the positivity stays – not stupid positivity, there’s nothing positive about tonight other than Anthony Gordon and a couple of people who didn’t give up. That should be the bare minimum, I demand that, and it gives me a lot of food for thought going forward.

No defence? Carra slams Everton backline
Sky Sports’ Jamie Carragher hit out at Everton’s defence during his half-time analysis this evening, insisting that the Toffees back four was not of Premier League quality.
The Merseyside club were 3-0 down at that stage, and Carragher’s stinging words were still audible when they conceded a fourth seconds after the restart.
When you talk about them being a team too good to go down, it’s because we look at Everton’s strikers – Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin. This back four is a Championship back four, there’s no doubt about it.

Hot-shot Harry overtakes Henry
With his double this evening, Harry Kane moved on to 176 Premier League goals in his career to overtake Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in the competition’s all-time scorers list.
Afterwards, the Tottenham striker admitted he was proud to pass Henry’s total, and insists that he can keep on going for years to come.
Thierry was one of the greatest Premier League strikers we’ve seen so to go above him now is a nice little milestone. I feel like I’ve got plenty more years in me so hopefully I can keep ticking off those names, keep helping the team with my goals and then we’ll see where we end up.

Toffees toothless on the road
The narrative tells us that Everton’s forwards are good enough to keep them up, but their defence remains the problem.
However, it’s now two away games in a row that the Toffees have failed to register a shot on target. Worrying times.
Match stats from north London
It’s been a five-star showing for Tottenham, but a night to forget for the visitors. Everton failed to register a single shot on target, and couldn’t even muster a booking in retaliation to their thumping.
Full time – Spurs 5-0 Everton
It’s all over! Another super showing from Harry Kane has fired Tottenham back into the race for the top four, but, at the other end of the table, Everton are in deep trouble.
Three up at the break through Michael Keane’s own-goal, Son Heung-min and Kane, it took the hosts just 40 seconds of the second half continue the theme of the first.
Substitute Sergio Reguilon netted with his second touch, and Kane soon added his second and Spurs’ fifth before Antonio Conte’s men cruised towards the final whistle.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
90+3. Allan smashes a shot way, way, way over the bar.
Still, it’s the first effort at goal for 40 minutes. Small victories.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
90. There will be three minutes of stoppage time left for those Everton fans still inside the stadium to endure.
Many have long since left, and, honestly, who can blame them?
Spurs 5-0 Everton
89. As the game enters it’s final minute, Bergwijn bursts forward off the left, beats one man, drops his shoulder, takes aim, and promptly fires a shot off in the direction of the Seven Sisters Road.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
87. Bentancur races back to stop Richarlison in his tracks.
The Uruguayan’s endeavour is noted by the home fans, although there is a slight concern among them when the player deems it necessary to stretch his hamstrings after the challenge.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
86. Everton’s last attempt at goal was in the 52nd minute.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
84. Reguilon wins a free-kick on the left, and from it, Sanchez goes close to heading in a sixth.
It’s the slightest of touches off the head of the Colombian, and a greater connection would have surely found the net.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
83. Kulusevski has another really impressive game this evening. He toys with Coleman on the flank before curling over a dangerous cross that evades Kane and co.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
81. Bergwijn gets ahead of Holgate in the box, and then goes to ground when the defender waves a leg in his direction.
Stuart Atwell is straight on the scene to say no penalty.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
78. This is the second time that Lampard has seen one of his side’s concede five in his managerial career.
The last time was also London versus Merseyside when Liverpool thumped his Chelsea 5-3 back in July 2020.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
77. Another Gordon corner is sent in the direction of Alli on the edge of the box.
The substitute has time to control and take the ball down, but rather than shooting he then curls a pass back out to Gordon, who is promptly flagged offside.
Alli’s lack of confidence in evidence there.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
75. Into the last 15 minutes, and it’s now become a game that both sides would be happy to wrap up.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
73. A rare foray forward from the visitors ends in an Everton corner.
Gordon delivers in the direction of Alli, but Bergwijn clears his lines, not once but twice.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
71. I don’t want to worry Everton fans further, but their goal difference is now worse than Burnley, Brentford and Newcastle’s – and that wasn’t the case two hours ago.
Spurs 5-0 Everton – Everton substitution
69. Here comes Dele Alli! The former Spurs man receives a wonderful reception from the home fans, who won’t begrudge the midfielder recapturing his best form at his new club.
Just as long as it doesn’t happened in the next 21 minutes.
Spurs 5-0 Everton – Spurs substitution
68. Steven Bergwijn comes on for Tottenham in place of Son Heung-min, and almost replicates Sergio Reguilon with an immediate goal.
The Dutch forward latches on to Kulusevki’s cheeky chip forward, and hammers a shot straight at Pickford.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
67. As Alli awaits his introduction on the touchline, the Tottenham fans begin to sing his name.
It’s actually an incredibly touching moment. I wonder if it would have happened if Spurs weren’t 5-0 up.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
66. Dele Alli is about to return to Spurs. Everton are readying their third substitution.
Spurs 5-0 Everton
64. Kulusevki is the latest home player to go close but his shot swerves away from goal.
