TOTTENHAM have received enquiries from Villarreal and Napoli over a potential loan deal for Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports.
The midfielder, 25, joined Spurs in 2019 for a club-record £65million fee, but he has since failed to live up to expectations.
He gradually fell down the pecking order at the club last season, so was sent back to Lyon on a short-term loan deal.
However, since returning to North London last month he has reportedly been ‘banished’ from first-team training along with Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks.
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is eager for him to move on before the transfer window closes in September.
And a move could be on the cards, with various clubs claimed to be interested.

According to The Daily Mail, Villarreal and Napoli have contacted Spurs chiefs to discuss a season-long loan deal.
Villarreal previously proposed a swap deal which would have seen Pervis Estupinan join Spurs on a permanent transfer, but nothing came of the discussions.
Ndombele has reportedly been offered to a number of different clubs by his team of representatives in a bid to find regular first team football.
Galatasaray and AC Milan have also expressed an interest in signing him, while Lyon are said to be considering a permanent deal.

Despite his mixed experience with Tottenham, Ndombele previously hinted that he would like to stay.
When speaking to Media Carre, he said: “I think it’s possible to be happy at Tottenham.
“Regardless of where you can go, you can be happy or unhappy.
“We’ll see how things go during pre-season. I’m not putting any more pressure on myself than that.”
He added: “What I want is to be happy, take pleasure in what I do, play, win, that’s all I want.”
