GIOVANI LO CELSO could be on his way out of Tottenham.
The Argentina playmaker was axed from the Spurs squad for Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea – even though he tweeted he was fit and available.
Sevilla are said to be interested in signing Lo Celso and the North Londoners could use him as bait to hijack Newcastle’s swoop for Brazilian central defender Diego Carlos.
Lo Celso, 25, was signed from Real Betis for £27.2million two years ago after a successful loan stint.
But form and fitness have restricted him to just two Premier League starts this season.
A key player for Argentina, he has often failed to produce the same high level of displays for his club.
A quiet character, he has a reputation for being a bit of a loner off the pitch.
He is clearly not part of new manager Antonio Conte’s long-term plans.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s bid to offload Tanguy Ndombele in this transfer window could be hindered by Paris Saint-Germain’s squad size.
Spurs are desperate to get the £200,000-a-week Frenchman off their wage bill and the £65m flop is keen on a return across the Channel.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be interested in an initial loan deal for the player he signed for Spurs from Lyon in July 2019.
But with around 30 senior stars already in his squad, he may have to shift one or two out before he can bring in Ndombele.
Valencia are said to want him on a six-month loan deal and are said to have agreed initial terms with Spurs.
