MARTIN ODEGAARD was branded ‘cheeky’ by a flabbergasted Michael Dawson after having the ‘audacity’ to perform an insane dummy against Brentford.

The playmaker, 23, was in top form today as Arsenal got revenge over the Bees with a 2-1 win at the Emirates.

Odegaard played the full 90 minutes in the No10 role vacated a year ago by Mesut Ozil.

And he was at the heart of each Arsenal attacking move, delighting fans with his wizardry on the ball.

However, even Tottenham icon Dawson had to admit that one particular piece of skill was out of this world.

With just moments before half-time, defender Cedric played a sharp pass down the right flank towards an oncoming Odegaard.

However, instead of receiving the ball into feet, the Norwegian swept his foot over the ball, tricking Brentford’s press and allowing Arsenal to counter further up the field.

The dummy was met with widespread praise as Sky Sports pundit and ex-Spurs star Dawson gasped: “The audacity and cheek of him is incredible.”
