A DRAMATIC second half comeback saw the spoils shared at St Mary’s Stadium.
It was goalless at the break but Leeds had the better of things and look in control of the game.
The Yorkshire side then broke the deadline in the first minute of the second half as Jack Harrison had time on the left wing to pinpoint Rodrigo, who flicked home.
And the Brazilian grabbed a second when he headed in to poach from close range.
But the Saints started their comeback in the 72nd minute when new summer signing Joe Aribo got off the mark. Aribo rounded keeper Illan Meslier and slotted home.
The south coast side tied the game late when Kyle Walker-Peters scored from a Sekou Mara assist. Debutant Mara made a difference to the game after coming off the bench with 20 minutes left to play.
