Among the pick of the bunch who did not make it were a pair of City stars, who joined the other half of Manchester.

Erling Haaland
United were joined by almost every big player in Europe when tracking Haaland’s development at Borussia Dortmund.
And Rangnick is said to have urged the club to make a push for the 22-year-old.
But United did not want to deal with his then-agent Mino Raiola, leaving City to swoop in and win the race.
