MANCHESTER UNITED legend Wayne Rooney has revealed he told Sir Alex Ferguson to ‘f*** off’ when he tried to sign him aged 14.
The Derby gaffer, 36, has stated he only had eyes for Everton after being approached by the Red Devils’ legendary manager.

After 17 goals in 77 outings for the Merseyside outfit, the Red Devils once again approached the Liverpudlian.
And Rooney has revealed he couldn’t resist the lure of the Red Devils a second time after coming to the realisation he had to play under Ferguson.
United signed the England icon in 2004, with the player going on to become the club’s all-time top scorer, before he returned to Goodison Park for a solitary season in 2017.
