ENGLAND fans raged at ITV as their new streaming app went on the fritz during the Three Lions’ World Cup clash with Senegal.
The national broadcaster’S ITVx player gave footy fans the opportunity to watch the crunch last 16 tie at the Al Bayt in Al Khor.
But according to several angry England supporters, it provided poor-quality images and numerous error messages.
Some even claimed the stream was several minutes behind the live action in Qatar.
But ITV chiefs denied fans’ criticisms, telling SunSport: “ITV can confirm the livestream through ITVX has been running well across all platforms, with very high traffic.
“These comments are not representative of the performance of the service for the very large volume of people using the livestream.”

One fuming Three Lions supporter said: “@ITVX your app and service is shambolic.
“You should be banned from ever participating in any other national sporting event ever.”
And another said: “Enjoying the England game on the ITVX app – nothing but a black screen with Dominos’s logo at the bottom.
“I haven’t been able to get the app to load not once on my Samsung Tizen TV. Great timing releasing this just for the WC.”
The technical issues led some fans to MISS England’s opener – which came in the 38th minute.
Jordan Henderson finished off a beautiful counterattack – which was driven by Jude Bellingham – by neatly side-footing a cross into the bottom corner past the despairing Edouard Mendy.
