POP STAR Robbie Williams paid a visit to Manchester United on the day Cristiano Ronaldo was axed from the squad.
Ronaldo will be left out of the United squad to face Chelsea on Saturday because of his poor attitude.
The Portuguese legend stormed down the tunnel and left Old Trafford before the match against Tottenham had even finished.
A day later, Erik ten Hag decided to fine Ronaldo while Williams toured the training ground at Carrington.
The former Take That star posed for a photo alongside fitness coach Paolo Gaudino.
He was dressed in a United tracksuit and may have visited Carrington in a bid to publicise his latest album ‘XXV’, which was released last month.

Williams is also a United fan and recently revealed his sadness at the club’s fall from grace in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson years.
He said: “I think there is something very rotten in the club, and that goes from the top of United to all parts of the club.
“It is incredibly sad, and it is really incomprehensible that such a huge dereliction of duty has arisen there. And for such an incredible institution…
“It’s much worse than confusion and chaos. This should never have come this far.

“I don’t think even Jesus is able to get the club back on track.”
“I do not think that the Lord, even if he throws all his miracles into battle, is able to solve this misery.
“It’s a shame for Erik because, you know, I really believe in him, and I like his football philosophy.
“He is so good at what he does. But he can’t fix it, Pep Guardiola can’t, Jurgen Klopp can’t… It’s really shocking.”
Williams also met Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland after the striker attended his show at the AO Arena on Thursday.
As for Ronaldo, he may have already played his last game for United with Ten Hag keen for him to leave, with the striker also facing a £720,000 fine.
