ARSENAL have suffered a transfer blow as Renato Sanches has agreed to join AC Milan, according to reports.
Sanches, 24, confirmed the Gunners were interested in signing him during the January window.
Now Calcio Mercato have reported that Sanches and Milan have a ‘definitive understanding’ over a deal.
So ‘barring a sensational twist’, Sanches will join the Italian giants this summer.
The Portugal international is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, who is said to have ‘excellent relations’ with the Serie A league leaders.
The only issue that allegedly stands in the way of the move is an agreement with Lille on the transfer fee.
The French side value him somewhere between £15million and £17m.
Sanches has worked hard to rebuild his career since a loan spell at Swansea.

He is currently starring at Ligue 1 mid-table Lille, where he moved in 2019.
Last season they were crowned champions.
The 24-year-old midfielder still has 18 months left on his contract but does not want to sign an extension.
Meanwhile, Arsenal may turn their attention to Sanches’ team-mate Jonathon David.
The 22-year-old Canada international striker has scored 16 goals in 33 games in all competitions for the French champs.
Both Sanches and David travel to West London to face Chelsea in the Champions League last-16 on Tuesday night.
