Real Madrid ‘fear Gareth Bale cannot play two games in week without risk of injuring himself’ after being sub at PSG

GARETH BALE cannot be relied on to play two games in a week without risking injury, according to claims.

On Monday, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Bale, 32, will leave the club when his contract ends this summer.

And Spanish radio network Cadena SER say the Italian manager has ‘major concerns’ over Bale’s inability to play two games within a week.

The Welshman made his first start in almost six months against Villarreal at the weekend.

But reports after the game suggested the club will handle Bale’s return with caution.

Ancelotti then elected not to choose the Wales skipper for Madrid’s crucial Champions League clash with PSG on Tuesday.

The Spanish giants lost 1-0 to a late goal from Kylian Mbappe.

Bale could only handle a cameo, coming off the bench for Karim Benzema in the 87th minute.
