RALF RANGNICK has told his troops ‘don’t panic’ if games are going against them.
Manchester United have dominated the first halves of their last two matches but lost on penalties to Middlesbrough and drew away to Burnley.
It appears they don’t like it up ‘em, as corporal Jones from Dad’s Army would say, when the tide turns against them in the second half.
German Rangnick said: “The players have realised that we have developed in the last couple of weeks in and out of possession of the ball.
“But if we concede a goal against Middlesbrough, it was after 60 mins and Burnley 50 mins, we should stick to the game plan, not lose shape, composure, this was the most harmful part, we didn’t have the same positioning on the pitch.
“This is what we spoke about when we analysed the Burnley game.
“If the other team scores a goal in football, we have to be aware of why we were so dominant before that and not lose structure, and lose shape.
“This was obvious for some 15 to 20 mins against Burnley, it got better at the end but in those 15 mins we lost that shape.”

United have been creating chances, but missing them.
Ronaldo, who came on as a sub at Burnley, has scored just once in his last seven games.
Rangnick said: “It’s not only about Cristiano, we should score more goals.
“It’s obvious we are creating chances and opportunities in the last couple of games but are just not scoring enough goals.
“It’s not just an issue with Cristiano, it’s an issue with other players, we don’t score enough goals.
“If you bear in mind how many chances we create, it needs to get better in coming weeks.
“In the first half against Burnley, it was very, very, close to the game plan we spoke before the game and now it’s about rewarding ourselves with the results we deserve.”
