TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR are back on TV as they travel up the M1 to take on Nottingham Forest.
Spurs continued their unbeaten start to the season with a gruelling 1-0 victory over Wolves last weekend, whilst Forest held Everton to a draw at Goodison.

He needn’t have bothered, mind you. The cross into the box is dreadful, and easily cut out.

In fairness, they haven’t done too much wrong so far.

24. Kane sparks another Tottenham counter-attack with a raking ball through for Son, who is denied the chance to run at Cook when he uses his hand to control.

23. Johnson continues to terrorise the Tottenham defence, be it through the centre or when he pulls out wide to the right.
Forest just need a striker on the end of his deliveries into the box. Could that man be Emmanuel Dennis?

22. Midway through the first half, and the home side have had 64% of the possession and registered six attempts on goal to Tottenham’s four.
In other words, they are having a right good go.

20. This time O’Brien takes aim from distance, and sees his shot dealt with unconvincingly by Lloris’ push out – a save that didn’t fall too far from the lurking Worrall.
Lingard regains possession, and curls a cross too the far post that is headed back cooly – perhaps too cooly – to his goalkeeper by Perisic.

18. Forest huff and puff in attack as shots from Lingard and Yates are blocked at close quarters.
In the Championship, the home side would expect to keep possession and rebuild, but here Spurs break at pace.
Son drives forward with a three-on-three opportunity before playing Kane in on the left.
The Tottenham goalscorer cuts back inside on the edge of the area, and curls an effort with his right foot two yards wide of the far post.

16. Tottenham are beginning to gain more of a foothold in this contest – and look a threat every time they attack.
Perisic gets the better of Williams to float over a lovely cross that requires Cook to come to Forest’s rescue.
But the hosts don’t fully clear, and when the ball falls to Son for a second opportunity, he whips a curler just over the crossbar from 20 yards.

13. The Kulusevski-Kane combination almost bears fruit again.
The Swede slips his striker in with a through ball, and only an excellent last-ditch tackle denies the Spurs man from getting another shot away.
It would have counted too. Kane was played onside by a dozing Mckenna on the far side.

Johnson and Gibbs-White try to link up with an intricate one-two inside the box, and it’s only the alert tracking from Hojbjerg that stops the former from retrieving the ball before Lloris.

11. Johnson again on the charge, and this time he wins a corner for the home side when his shot flicks off a defender.
Gibbs-White goes over to the left to deliver, but puts too much on his cross and it curls out of play.

The young Forest forward gets beyond Perisic and Davies to squeeze a dangerous low delivery across the face of goal.

Against the run of play, and with their first attack, Tottenham take the lead.
Dejan Kulusevski breaks forward from midfield, feeds Harry Kane on the right, and the striker does the rest.
It’s not the best connection of his stellar career, but Kane’s scuffed shot catches Dean Henderson unsighted by Scott McKenna and rolls into the net.

Gibbs-White has looked lively in the opening exchanges, and fancies his chances with a shot from 25 yards.
