A NON-LEAGUE footballer has been banned for NINE games after being charged with grabbing the “genitals” of TWO opposition players.
Longridge Town’s Connor Jackson was slapped with the ban following a fiery North West Counties League clash against Northwich Victoria on February 2.

But the punishment will still stand.
Victoria manager Stephen Wilkes has also received a seven-game ground ban after he admitted to calling Jackson a ‘gay c***’ and a ‘queer c***’.
The offensive language came after Victoria’s bench accused striker Jackson of grabbing players Matthew Clarke and Christian Mather between the legs and “squeezing their testicles”.

And club chairman Brian Turner said: “The issue of Mr Wilkes was dealt with by the FA Disciplinary Panel, which the club accepts.
“Therefore, the club has no further comment to make.”
Longridge Town and the Lancashire FA were approached for comment.
Lancashire Police said they had no record of any criminal complaint from the game being reported.
