NEWCASTLE have been hit with an injury crisis with star men Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes suffering knocks.
Record-signing Isak, 23, has not featured for Sweden this international break and returned back to Tyneside over the weekend for treatment on a leg injury.
The £60million striker is set to be out for several weeks, leaving Toon with just ONE fit frontman with Callum Wilson back in training following a month out.
Chris Wood also suffered a rib injury with New Zealand while talisman Allan Saint-Maximin is still recovering from a hamstring problem.
Guimaraes is also a doubt for Fulham this weekend after returning back early from Brazil duty with a thigh strain.
Although the 24-year-old’s injury is not thought to be serious, Guimaraes was left out of Brazil’s squad to face Tunisia tonight.
