NICK POPE is Twitter’s No 1 after Newcastle fans invaded a Burger King poll.
The fast food chain asked their 107,000 followers whether they preferred tomatoes or gherkins.
And Magpies supporters, led by popular account ‘Toon Polls’, piled into the comments with the same bizarre reply: Nick Pope.
Burger King then tweeted the England goalkeeper’s name and it soon snowballed.
And that led to Pope overtaking Joan of Arc as the UK’s top trend.
Walkers, Deliveroo, Domino’s, Specsavers, Quality Street and Dreams all followed suit.
