MICHAEL CARRICK is reportedly rebuilding his £1.4million farmhouse to add a tennis court and a riding area.
The midfielder ended his 15-year stay at Manchester United as a player, coach and interim manager late last year after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking.
And according to the Daily Mail, Carrick is keeping himself busy as he is looking to rebuild his 17th century farmhouse.
Carrick purchased the property two years ago and it also comes with two barns, a stable and a paddock.
The 40-year-old would like to add a tennis court to the six-acre grounds as well as convert the barns into a five-bedroom house.
Carrick would also like to turn the garage block into a garden room and add a new riding area.
Like Carrick, Solskjaer is also keeping himself busy after leaving Man Utd.
The former boss, who was sacked in November following the humbling 4-1 loss to Watford, has been spotted giving his daughter Karna a lift to training.

Karna, 19, is one of United’s up and coming Under-21s stars.
The promising forward has already netted double digits for the youth side this term and is hoping to win a WSL first-team spot.
Karna has had a little taste of senior action for the Red Devils, making her debut in the FA Cup fourth-round defeat of Bridgwater United.
The Solskjaers made football history by becoming part of the first father-daughter duo to represent the Red Devils.
