MANCHESTER UNITED and Tottenham target Memphis Depay claims he snubbed summer moves as he relished fighting for his place at Barcelona.
Depay was reportedly offered to Chelsea BEFORE they signed fellow Barca frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And he has remained a bit-part player at the Nou Camp – with star recruit Robert Lewandowski netting eight times in six LaLiga games.
But former United fringe man Depay insists he is happy he stayed.
The Holland star told ESPN: “Other clubs came and then you just look at your options. I decided to fight for my chance here.
“I was the top scorer of Barca with Aubameyang. I love competition and I don’t walk away from it. I enjoy being at Barca.”

Depay hit the second goal as he started Saturday’s 3-0 win over Elche.
Bayern Munich legend Lewandowski bagged the other two strikes as Barca went top for 24 hours until Real Madrid beat Atletico.
And ex-Lyon hero Depay, now on international duty, said: “It’s nice to be able to perform and score a goal just before you have to join the national team.
“It’s just a reminder that you are still good at it.. not that I have doubts about that.
