After thrashing United 4-0, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp described the seventh-minute show of support as the “moment of the game”.
The German said: “It was a real show of class and of course, all our thoughts from the moment we heard about it were for Cristiano and his family and I can’t even imagine how it must be.

Ronaldo returned to the United training ground on Wednesday and was pictured sat in the back of a car driven by one of his security guards.
His team – who confirmed Erik ten Hag’s appointment today – are next in action on Saturday when they travel to top four-chasing rivals Arsenal.
But it remains to be seen whether Ronaldo, the club’s top scorer this season with 21, will be back to lead the line.
