Man Utd stars arrive at training but will it be the last time for likes of Lingard and Jones amid transfer exit links?

MANCHESTER UNITED stars arrived at training today in what for some could be their last taste of life as a Red Devil.

A host of United fringe players are being pursued with the January transfer window due to slam shut TONIGHT.

And boss Ralf Rangnick is set for a nervy evening as a series of on-again off-again moves come to a head.

Fit-again defender Phil Jones is wanted in France by Bordeaux.

He put himself in the shop window with his recent efforts against Wolves but is said to have turned down a late loan offer from the Ligue 1 outfit.

Academy product Jesse Lingard is desperate for minutes after spending most of the season glued to the bench.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle as he enters the final six months of his contract.

But United appear to have torpedoed a move to St James’ Park by demanding the Toon cough up a £12million ‘survival bonus’ if Lingard helps them beat the drop.

Second-string goalkeeper Dean Henderson is another of Rangnick’s men wanted on Tyneside.

The 24-year-old competed well with first-choice David De Gea last season but has seen the Spaniard firmly installed as No.1 this term.

One player who is no longer reporting for United duty is Netherlands flop Donny van de Beek.

The out-of-favour playmaker has been handed a career lifeline in the shape of a loan move to Everton.

He is set to link up with Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who is due to take over at Goodison Park and is reportedly convinced he can revive Van De Beek’s flagging fortunes.
