MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly had a £9million transfer offer rejected for Marko Arnautovic.
The Red Devils kick off their season today against Brighton, but their pre-season has been marred by the gargantuan saga of Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
With the legendary forward wanting to leave, United have been shopping around for firepower this window, and landed on former West Ham star Arnautovic.
Reports earlier this week indicated The Red Devils were lining up a shock bid for the 33-year-old.
However, it has now been revealed by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio that United have submitted an offer for him.
But current club Bologna have rejected a £9m bid.

Arnautovic left West Ham in 2019 in favour of the Chinese Super League, before returning to Europe with Bologna last season.
