Man Utd fans all saying same thing as Cristiano Ronaldo’s reaction from bench to Antony’s goal caught on camera

MANCHESTER UNITED supporters were quick to hail Cristiano Ronaldo for his reaction to Antony’s debut goal against Arsenal.

Antony only arrived for £85million this week but was thrust straight into the starting 11 against Arsenal by Erik ten Hag.

And the winger – coached by Ten Hag at Ajax previously – repaid the Dutchman in some style.

Meanwhile, the legendary Ronaldo started the game on the substitutes bench for the fourth successive match.

He is paying the price for missing pre-season, when he staged his failed attempt to secure a move away.

Ronaldo, 37, has only started one of United’s five matches this season – the disastrous 4-0 defeat at Brentford.

But since Ten Hag dropped the former Real Madrid and Juventus goal machine, United had won three in a row, heading into the clash with table-topping Arsenal.

However, he put that disappointment aside as Antony’s effort hit the net and he rose to his feet in the dug-out to give his new team-mate a standing ovation.

One fan wrote in reaction to the image on Twitter: “Looking like a proud dad.”

Another commented: “Respect Ronaldo!”

A fellow fan said: “This is why Cristiano Ronaldo is the goat.”

As another commented: “Much love from Ronaldo.”

Ronaldo replaced Antony in the 58th minute but within seconds of his introduction the Gunners equalised through birthday boy Bukayo Saka.

However, Marcus Rashford soon restored United’s advantage after keeping his cool to slot after being played clean through.

And then Christian Eriksen turned provider as he set-up Rashford for the third.
