MANCHESTER UNITED face a horror run of home fixtures which could plunge Erik ten Hag under huge pressure.
The Red Devils endured the nightmare start to the new Premier League season on Sunday.
They were stunned 2-1 at home by Brighton as Pascal Gross scored twice in a crushing first half.
But things could get even worse for United in the coming months with plenty of tough teams visiting Old Trafford before the break for the World Cup.
Ten Hag’s side face their biggest enemy, Liverpool, in their next home game on the August 22 Monday Night Football.
Liverpool won that fixture 5-0 last season as the embarrassing Red Devils collapsed and Paul Pogba was sent off.

After away trips to Southampton and Leicester, United host Arsenal on September 4 and then face another derby at the once-upon-a-time fortress when Leeds rock up on September 18.
Home games against Newcastle and Tottenham come within three days in the middle of October, a bumper month that also features a home clash with West Ham and away trips to Manchester City, Everton and Chelsea.
The Hammers clash on October 30 is the last home game before the World Cup and they face Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth over the festive season before City head to Old Trafford.
Add into the mix Europa League fixtures and potentially some Carabao Cup games and Ten Hag will know he needs some early wins to get the home fans on side.
