Man City ace Grealish says Copenhagen keeper told him that Haaland was ‘not human’ after striker scored two more goals


MANCHESTER CITY ace Jack Grealish revealed Copenhagen’s goalkeeper told him goal phenom Erling Haaland was “not human” after netting a first half brace.

The Premier League champions welcomed Copenhagen to the Etihad in their third Champions League group stage game.

And it took Haaland just seven minutes to take his goals tally to 18 across all competitions.

The 22-year-old powered home on his weaker right foot.

He then struck again just after the half hour mark, instinctively finishing into an empty net.

It was Haaland’s 19th goal in just 13 games played and it was the fifth occasion this term that he has scored two or more goals in for City.

His frightening form led to Copenhagen keeper Kamil Grabara questioning whether he was human.

City ace Grealish revealed to BT Sport: “It’s unbelievable honestly. I’ve never witnessed anything like it in my life.

“For the first and second goals I was just laughing. He is always there.

“The keeper said something to me as I was walking back. He said ‘he’s not human!’

“I said ‘you’re telling me?’ Hopefully he can carry on this form and take us to glory.”

Haaland was withdrawn before the start of the second half, denying him of 45 minutes to chase a fourth hat-trick of the season.

City went on to add three more to Haaland’s first half brace.

Davit Khocholava scored an own goal for the visitors and Riyad Mahrez, as well as Julian Alvarez, got on the scoresheet to secure a 5-0 victory.
