LIVERPOOL have been handed a transfer boost in their bid to sign Barcelona wonderkid Gavi, with the midfielder reportedly turning down a THIRD contract offer.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene at the Camp Nou at the start of this season and has impressed new boss and club legend Xavi.

The Barca academy product has played 24 times in LaLiga this term Xavi, who was one of the best midfielders of his generation, is a big fan of Gavi.
He has labelled the midfielder “an incredible talent.”
Xavi said: “He’s an incredible talent and a joy to coach.
“At 17, to already have made such an impact and play with the national side is marvellous.”
