LIVERPOOL star Luis Diaz left the Emirates on crutches following the Reds’ 3-2 defeat to Arsenal.
A bad day for Jurgen Klopp’s side could have even worse ramifications with the winger sporting a knee brace after picking up a first-half injury.
Diaz caused problems for Arsenal and produced the assist for Darwin Nunez’s equaliser in a promising display.
But his game was halted early after he came off second best in a clash with Thomas Partey and received treatment after going to ground.
Diaz tried to continue but moments later he hit the turf once again and the decision was made to take him off.
That was a major blow for Liverpool as although replacement Roberto Firmino scored, the Reds were not as dangerous in attack without the Colombian.

Klopp will no doubt be very concerned to see Diaz’s knee strapped up with the winger also unable support his own weight without crutches.
To make matters worse Trent Alexander-Arnold also picked up an injury and was unable to come out for the second half.
Klopp provided an update on the pair’s condition after the match.
He said: “He [Alexander-Arnold] is injured unfortunately. Like Luis Diaz as well, it doesn’t look good for both. That is the icing on the cake.”

That is a big worry for a Liverpool side already 14th points off league leaders Arsenal.
The Reds have won just two out of eight games and are ninth in the league with games coming thick and fast. First up is a Champions League trip to Rangers in mid-week before champions Manchester City visiting Anfield next Sunday.
