JURGEN KLOPP has described Anfield’s show of support towards Cristiano Ronaldo last night as the “moment of the game”.
The Portuguese ace was absent for Manchester United as he grieves the tragic death of his baby son during childbirth.

The applause, suggested by Liverpool, was perfectly observed – with players from both sides also wearing black armbands.
Speaking after the game, a proud Klopp said: “It was a real show of class and of course, all our thoughts from the moment we heard about it were for Cristiano and his family and I can’t even imagine how it must be.
“We really feel for him.”

Ronaldo took to social media to share his family’s heartbreaking news on Monday evening.
The forward wrote: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.
“It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.
