JURGEN KLOPP has been banned from the touchline for Liverpool’s game against Southampton after the FA won their appeal.
The Reds manager shouted at a match official during his team’s clash against Manchester City last month and appeared to have escaped with only a small fine.
But he will now be forced to watch Liverpool’s final game before the World Cup break against Southampton from the stands.
But Liverpool have been left dismayed at the timing of the decision, according to The Times.
They were only alerted of Klopp’s ban at 6pm – just 21 hours before the match.
The German will now have to sit in the Anfield stands for the game rather than his usual position in the dugout.

Klopp was originally fined £30,000 independent regulatory commission.
But the FA believed a fine was too lenient after Klopp launched a tirade in the direction of assistant referee Gary Beswick.
Klopp’s anger came after Bernardo Silva was not penalised for a tackle on Mohamed Salah.
The Liverpool boss admitted he “lost it” but denied being disrespectful to a match official.

The FA launched its appeal last Friday that was heard by an independent appeal board.
English football’s governing body launched the “Enough is Enough” campaign earlier this season which looked to tackle anti-social behaviour at grass-roots football and said at the time that top-level football figures should set the example.
Klopp is the third manager this season to face punishment from the FA due to their behaviour.
Thomas Tuchel received a touchline ban and a fine after a dramatic touchline-bust up with Antonio Conte when the German was still Chelsea boss.
And Jesse Marsch also missed one game and had to pay a fine after clashing with officials during Leeds’ defeat against Brentford.
