CAMEROON star Vincent Aboubakar claims he is as good as Liverpool forward Mo Salah.
The former Porto striker is not impressed by Salah despite his brilliant goalscoring record since joining the Reds.
Salah is starting to find his best form this season but Aboubakar feels he is overhyped.
The 30-year-old even suggested he can do what Salah does but has just not been given an opportunity at a top club like the Egyptian has.
Aboubakar told 90football.fr: “I understand people’s attitudes, he’s one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League.
“It makes sense that when you go on about a player like that, people will talk.

“But I did say that it was my opinion, my point of view. I don’t give a toss if people don’t like it – I’m not impressed by him.
“I can do what he does. I just don’t have the opportunity to play in a big club.”
After a slow start to the campaign Salah has scored five goals in his last four Liverpool games including a double against Tottenham on Sunday.
He has 14 goals in 20 games in all competitions this season and has taken his overall tally for Liverpool to 170 goals.

He has an equally impressive for Egypt, scoring 45 goals in 83 caps for his country.
But unfortunately for Salah Egypt did not qualify for the World Cup, so he is one of the biggest names to miss out alongside Erling Haaland.
