Despite the disappointment of Haaland beating him to the punch, not even the inevitable Norwegian could stop Bellingham claiming two records for his own.

The 19-year-old firstly claimed the record for the first English teenager to start a Champions League game as captain of his side.

And then after his wondergoal he became the first midfielder in the competitions history to score in successive appearances while still a teenager.

Bellingham is available for as little as £83million if the fee is paid up front in full, and he has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City for a transfer.

However, Bellingham could likely only dream of putting up the numbers his ex partner in crime is doing currently.

The Terminator, as he is affectionately known, was described as “not human” by Copenhagen’s goalkeeper after netting his 18th and 19th goals of the season.

His brace midweek followed on from his third hat-trick of the season in the 6-3 demolition of Man Utd.
