ARSENAL are reportedly targeting a summer move for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix.
And the Gunners’ style of play and array of attacking talent could help get the best out of Felix, who has struggled in Diego Simeone’s strict approach to games.
The signing of Felix could cost the Gunners £120million, according to El Chiringuito.
The Portugal international has 23 goals and 14 assists in 100 games for the LaLiga champions.
Felix’s versatility, as well as his ability to score a wide range of different goals, justifies Atletico’s desire to make a small profit on the player.
Playing in front of an attacking three made up of Emile Smith Rowe, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, Felix could repay the transfer fee in no time.
Like Saka and Smith Rowe, Felix likes to pick up the ball from deep and drive at his opponents.
His mesmerising footwork sees him beat opponents regularly, winning 76 duels in the league this season.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka could provide a good mix of passing and tough tackling in the middle of the park.
Full-backs Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu have proven reliable getting up and down the flanks.
And Gabriel alongside Ben White has thus far provided a good defensive shield for fan favourite Aaron Ramsdale.
Arsenal may need two strikers at a minimum in the summer.
Former club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the club last month for Barcelona.
And dressing room leader Alexandre Lacazette is out of contract come the end of June.
Hale End academy product Eddie Nketiah’s contract also runs out in four months time and it is unclear whether he will agree to new terms.
Felix could also play out wide on the left for Arsenal or as a No10.
If Lacazette extends his stay in north London, Felix could start out on the left, replacing Smith Rowe.
