How Arsenal could line up against Leicester as Mikel Arteta looks to continue solid start – but will Smith Rowe come in?

ARSENAL made the perfect start to the Premier League season with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Now Mikel Arteta will have his sights firmly set on picking up three points in their first home game of the campaign against Leicester.

But will the Spaniard make any significant changes to his team for the clash at the Emirates?

Well, the performance at Selhurst Park suggests he will stick with the same XI.

Arsenal’s new signings Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko impressed in a Gunners shirt.

William Saliba’s Prem debut saw him win the man of the match award.

Ben White looked accomplished despite being pushed out to right-back.

The midfield three of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard looked to have a nice balance.

Bukayo Saka is always a guaranteed starter, while Gabriel Martinelli staked his claim ahead of Emile Smith Rowe with an opening day goal.

None of the players who started against Palace deserve to be dropped, but there is still the chance that a couple of changes could be made.

Smith Rowe may well be given the opportunity to rival Martinelli’s goalscoring display against Palace as he continues to duke it out with the Brazilian for the regular spot on the left.

Kieran Tierney could come back into the fold for new boy Zinchenko if Arteta wants to try and keep his full-backs fresh.

And there is also the possibility that the midfield trio could be altered slightly, with Albert Sambi Lokonga coming in for Xhaka.
