BAYERN MUNICH boss Julian Nagelsmann has hinted Sadio Mane is TIRED just weeks into the new season – blaming old club Liverpool.
Mane, 30, was hooked after minutes of the 2-0 win over Barcelona.
While Mane did contribute to the win, his overall impact on the game was muted.
And Nagelsmann has hinted at tiredness being a possible reason for this, despite the season being just a few weeks old.
Following the game, he said: “He (Mane) put in so much for Liverpool.
“He’s a new signing. He just needs to adapt.

“He was trying. I’m certain he will succeed for us.”
Liverpool played every single game possible last season as they made it to the finals of all three cup competitions and played all 38 of their Premier League fixtures.
Out of the 63 games the Reds played, Mane missed just 12, but at least half of those were due to his participation in the African Cup of Nations with Senegal when they won the tournament – playing seven games in less than a month.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have definitely suffered a hangover, having been outrun in a number of games already this season.

And it seems Mane is similarly suffering from the ailments of last season’s demanding campaign.
Despite his recent drop-off, Mane started the season well, scoring five goals in his first six games in all competitions.
He joined the Bundesliga side after calling time on his six-year career at Anfield.
