THIS is the awkward moment Pep Guardiola found himself cornered in an elevator with some excitable fans.

The Manchester City manager was by some fans who were unable to contain their excitement about sharing the lift with him.

One of the fans started to film the Spaniard, but to his embarrassment, he went and stood at the door with his back turned and got off at the next stop.

On the video, the excited Guardiola fans can be heard saying: “No way, this is so funny, oh my god.”

The video has since gone viral on TikTok, with it being viewed over one million times on the platform.

People seeing the video saw the funny side of the encounter, with one saying: “He knew he made a mistake.”

City attacker Bernardo Silva was caught on camera trying to hide from a fan looking for a selfie with the star player.

The fan had spotted Silva and called out to him as he tried to hide his face next to a door.

But it was too late for the Portuguese international as he seemly and reluctantly agreed to have a picture with the fan.

City are back in action on Saturday as Guardiola, Silva and co welcome Brighton at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
