And they will face a familiar name as Union handed a debut to the 18-year-old namesake of the Liverpool legend in their opening league fixture at Sint-Truiden.
Manager Karel Geraerts admitted: “During his first training sessions with the first team, everyone thought…wow, Mo Salah!
“He has a great name, doesn’t he?
“Our players from England in particular thought it was very amusing. But he’s a good talent and it’s nice to promote players from our youth academy.
“His name always impresses the other team, but he’s used to it by now.
“Mo is his own man and he has shown his talent and character to be promoted to the full squad and he deserved his debut match.
“He’s not in the team just for a laugh, we hope in time he will become a starter.”
Meanwhile, Charlie Nicholas has predicted Rangers will win NOTHING this coming season.
