And the 49-year-old took a stroll in the miserable weather on Thursday.

Tuchel – who will get a £13million compensation pay-off package – wore a black jacket and black jogging bottoms which were tucked into his white Nike socks.

He completed the look with Nike running trainers and a beanie hat.

Tuchel’s replacement is set to be confirmed in the coming hours with Graham Potter on course to sign a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Brighton boss has had two rounds of discussions with the new Chelsea hierarchy yesterday and today, verbally agreeing to take the job.

He was filmed arriving at the Seagulls’ training ground, probably for the final time, earlier today to say his goodbyes to the Brighton staff and players as his press conference was cancelled.

The former Macclesfield left-back, 47, was expected back at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground this afternoon.

However, it has been assistant coach Anthony Barry taking training in the absence of a manager with the players back in today to continue preparations for facing Fulham on Saturday.
