MANCHESTER UNITED Supporters’ Trust have blasted the running of the club in a rare public statement – as pressure for a boycott builds.

Fans’ group MUST demanded “urgent and radical action” as they blamed club owners the Glazers.

United have opened the Premier League season with back-to-back defeats – a new low since legendary boss Alex Ferguson departed nine years ago.

And MUST described Brentford’s “embarrassing” win as: “In many ways not a surprise. It feels like the culmination of a long-term direction of travel.

“Sir Alex papered over the cracks, but since 2013 the consequences of our owners has been plain to see.

MUST, as well as Old Trafford legends like Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand, have declined to single out new boss Erik ten Hag for criticism.
