MANCHESTER UNITED fans are praising their young talent, Alejandro Garnacho, after they spotted his phone wallpaper pays tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 18-year-old has been his side’s star boy this season and has impressed whenever given the chance by manager, Erik Ten Hag.

Garnacho has made nine appearances for the first team already this campaign and has managed to register two assists and bag two goals.

But United fans don’t just love him for his exciting performances and terrifying potential, they also love his admiration for club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

This comes despite the Portuguese superstar’s recent sacking from the club following his explosive interview with SunSport columnist Piers Morgan .

Garnacho has been spotted on social media with his phone displaying a background of himself doing Ronaldo’s new ‘napping’ celebration.

The youngster copied the celebration after he scored his first goal for the club against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

Fans of Garnacho and United have taken to Twitter to discuss the revelation and many are delighted.

One said: “Young lad is amazing” in reference to Garnacho’s talent.

Whilst another posted: “WHAT A PLAYER” with an image of the youngster.

Many Man United fans have been fawning over Garnacho’s performances and believe he may even reach the heights of Ronaldo on his current trajectory.

The Spanish-born winger is hot property for the Red Devil’s, but with his contract set to expire in the summer they will have to tie him down to a new deal if they want to keep hold of him.

Garnacho started in United’s 2-0 victory over Burnley in the Carabao Cup last night and will be in contention for a starting place ahead of the restart of the Premier League.

Man United begin the second half of the league campaign on December 27 with a clash against relegation battlers Nottingham Forest.
