FOOTBALL fans hilariously reacted after BT Sport’s commentary of Leicester vs Crystal Palace cut out during the game.
Midway through the second half, the broadcast froze for around 15 seconds as viewers were left wondering what was going on.
Coverage then resumed but commentators Darren Fletcher and Lucy Ward were noticeably absent.
After a couple of minutes with only the sound of the crowd, Fletcher and Ward then re-emerged and resumed their duties as normal.
But the brief void left by the commentary pair was not missed by those on social media.
And fans gave their honest reaction to the mishap just seconds after it occurred – appearing to enjoy the audible space left by the broadcasters’ disappearance.

Another added: “BT Sport has lost commentary and the game is immediately more enjoyable.”
And a third said: “No commentary is actually quite therapeutic… Keep it like this please, BT.”
It came after the BT coverage started 30 minutes late due to technical issues.

Fletcher and Ward did not miss much during their brief absence as Leicester and Palace continued to play out a rather drab goalless draw.
The Foxes were searching for their second Premier League win of the campaign – a victory which would have seen them climb out of the relegation zone.
And Brendan Rodgers’ men came close through James Maddison and Patson Daka.
But ultimately Patrick Vieira’s visitors earned themselves a point, with Odsonne Edouard almost snatching all three but for a superb stop from Danny Ward.
