MANCHESTER CITY star Jack Grealish has been trolled by fans once more as Miguel Almiron’s stunning goalscoring form continues.
Grealish has been regularly mocked after the summer’s title parade when he took an unprovoked dig at Almiron while explaining how City beat Aston Villa to clinch the trophy.
The forward said: “There were two secrets… one, Riyad [Mahrez], take him off the pitch, as soon as possible. He played like Almiron.
“Number two, [pointing at Bernardo Silva] he’s been so good this season, get him off the pitch.”
Almiron, though, has been firing on all cylinders ever since Grealish’s swipe and picked up where he left off during Newcastle’s first match after the World Cup at Leicester.
The playmaker doubled the Magpies’ lead after just seven minutes following Chris Wood’s opener and before Joelinton’s finish.

That makes it nine goals and one assist in 16 Premier League matches for the Paraguay international this season, which is much more than Grealish’s total of one goal in 17 appearances.
Fans took to social media to troll the England international once more claiming that his harsh words have motivated Almiron.
One supporter tweeted: “I need Grealish to slander some Liverpool players man, he literally turned Almiron into prime [Lionel] Messi..”
Another wrote: “Grealish has blood on his hands for this Almiron guy moving mad.”

A third commented: “Grealish whatever you said about Almiron I want you to say it to Jadon Sancho.”
This supporter said: “Grealish really awoken the beast in Almiron.”
And that one tweeted: “Jack Grealish created a beast, sometimes you just need a little ignition 😂…Miguel Almiron.”
Grealish’s comment has completely backfired, with Almiron having netted more Prem goals this term than the City record signing has in his entire Etihad career to date.

After being awarded the Player of the Month award for October, the Paraguayan insisted that he bears no ill will.
Almiron said: “Nothing Jack Grealish has said has anything to do with this success.
“He’s a great player and I wish him well – but this is down solely to hard work.”
Grealish admitted earlier this month that he regrets what he said about Almiron.
The 27-year-old also praised the Newcastle star’s talent as well as character.
Grealish said: “That was one thing I regret. He said something about me in the interview the other day when he wished me the best.
“I thought ‘what a guy’ because if somebody had said that about me, I’d have probably been the other way and been like ‘f**k it’.
“I messaged Matt Targett because I’m close with him from Villa and I said to him ‘can you message him for me and say to him that I apologise, I obviously didn’t mean it’.
“Matt said ‘he’s a lovely kid and that he’s harmless and doesn’t really speak a lot of English. He won’t really be bothered’.

“When I look back on that, that was just one thing that was stupid of me to say. I didn’t realise it was a video to go out, I thought it was just private.
“But even in private, I shouldn’t have said it because he’s a fellow professional. I’m actually buzzing for him this season. I’ve had a lot of stick off the Newcastle fans and rightly so.”
