DIEGO COSTA has arrived at Wolves’ training ground for a medical ahead of his free transfer.
The Striker, 33, had his work permit accepted on appeal yesterday after it was initially rejected by the Home Office.
His original application was dismissed due to his lack of recent match-time at club level and recent lack of international appearances for Spain.
However, SunSport exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Wolves were confident the initial decision would be overturned due to his pedigree as an elite athlete.
As soon as the appeal was granted, Costa was given the green light to fly to the UK for medical tests.
He landed last night, but arrived at Wolves’ Compton training ground this morning.
